Recently, a video has been circulated on social media with the caption, “After a five-hour long important meeting with senior Awami League leaders in Kolkata, the current lifeblood of the Awami League.. Saima Wazed Putul is heading to the airport for Delhi.”

An investigation by the Rumor Scanner team found that the circulated video has no connection to Saima Wazed Putul. In reality, on October 20, an Indian vlogger published a video of night scenes in Kolkata on his YouTube channel. A portion of that video is being circulated with the claim in question.

An investigation into this matter found a match between the circulated video and the footage from the 8 minute 40 second mark to the 9 minute 45 second mark of a video posted on October 20 on a YouTube channel named Rudranil Bhaumik.

Rudranil Bhaumik is a vlogger. This young man from Kolkata showed night scenes of Kolkata during Diwali in this video. He also shared the link to the video on his personal Facebook profile.

In other words, this video has no connection to Saima Wazed Putul.

Therefore, a travel vlog video has been circulated with the claim of it being a scene of Putul heading to the airport for Delhi; which is false.
