Rumor Scanner team’s investigation revealed that a screenshot claiming Brazilian football star Neymar posted about Messi on Facebook is fake. The screenshot was created by editing or manipulating one of Neymar’s genuine Facebook posts using digital tools, as Neymar did not make any such post about Messi.
Upon reviewing the screenshot, it matches the pattern of typical Facebook posts. As part of the investigation, Rumor Scanner examined the Facebook page of Brazilian footballer Neymar Jr. However, no trace of the discussed post could be found on his page. Additionally, since June 19, only two Reels videos have been posted on his page. Before that, the last post was made on June 8 (link).
Subsequently, Neymar Jr. ‘s Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) accounts were also reviewed, but no such post was found.
In conclusion, the screenshot in question was created by editing the screenshot of a different post on Neymar Jr.’s Facebook page using digital tools.
Therefore, the screenshot claiming Neymar made a post titled “Never doubt a Goat” about Lionel Messi after Inter Miami’s win is fake and fabricated.
