Recently, two images have been circulated side-by-side on social media claiming that the man named Abdul Adil Khan married the woman in 2023. The woman changed her name from Nandini Mandal to Zara Islam and converted to Islam. Many Hindus tried to reason with her, but she wouldn’t listen.
The post claims that from 2023 to 2025, Abdul indulged his lust for two years, exploiting this girl in every way, and now he has beaten her and thrown her out of the house. See her current condition in the photo below. The post shows two side-by-side photos: the first one is from 2023 (where the boy and girl are standing next to each other), and the second one is from 2025 (where the girl’s face appears burned).

Fact-Check
An investigation by the Rumor Scanner team found that the man mentioned in the circulating post is not named Abdul Adil Khan, nor is the woman named Nandini Mandal or Zara Islam. In reality, the poster and a makeup scene from a drama starring actor Tuhin Chowdhury and actress Jouty Islam were used to circulate this false claim.
The investigation began by attempting to find the source of the photos. The first image was found through a reverse search in the thumbnail of a YouTube video linked in posts published on the Facebook accounts of small-screen actress Jouty Islam and actor Tuhin Chowdhury on December 26, 2024.
The video is of a drama titled Bidhaba Bou (The Widow Bride). Jouty Islam and Tuhin Chowdhury acted in this drama. The drama was released on YouTube on the same day.
Therefore, the claim that the man’s name is Abdul Adil Khan and the woman’s name is Nandini Mandal or Zara Islam is incorrect. Furthermore, the photo is not from 2023.
Subsequently, the second image circulated with the claim was found to match footage from a video on Jouty’s Facebook account, posted on October 21. The caption of the video includes Bengali drama and shooting-related hashtags. Jouty also commented, stating that it was a scene from a drama named Ami Nusrat Bolchi (I am Nusrat Speaking).
Later, a poster of the drama was found in another post shared by Jouty, where her face shows the same scene. It was announced that the drama would be released on YouTube by Beyond Films. According to the Beyond Films Facebook page source, the drama was scheduled for release on their YouTube channel on November 01 at 3:30 PM Bangladesh time. The drama has since been released on YouTube.
Thus, the second picture is not from a real-life incident.
An investigation into whether Jouty Islam had previously converted her religion or if her name was Nandini Mandal before (in 2023 or earlier) revealed that after her Facebook account was opened in 2016, there is no evidence of a name change. The account was operated with the same name even in 2022. The page was opened with this name in 2021 and has not been changed since.
Therefore, the footage of a drama poster and shooting makeup scene is being circulated on social media with the claim of ‘Love Jihad’; which is completely false.
