Fact-check
Rumor Scanner Team’s investigation revealed that the circulated video does not depict protests in the U.S. against the Trump administration following the attack on Iran. Rather, it is a video from a June 14 protest named “No Kings,” which occurred before the attack on Iran.
In this investigation, the exact same video was found posted on June 14 on an Instagram profile named ‘Keithroberti’. Additionally, the same video was posted on June 15 on another Instagram profile named ‘Jess Porter’. From the post descriptions, it is clear that the video shows a protest in San Diego, U.S., against the Trump administration on June 14.

There is also a visual match between the circulated video and a video published on June 15 by San Diego’s local TV channel CBS 8. This video, from its title and description, shows that over 20,000 people participated in a protest in downtown San Diego under the “No Kings” message.
According to a report from a portal called inewsource, nearly 60,000 people gathered in San Diego on June 14 as part of the nationwide “No Kings” protest. The protesters demonstrated against immigration policies, Medicaid cuts, and attacks on constitutional protections.
Therefore, the video shows the “No Kings” protest in San Diego on June 14, which took place before the June 22 attack on Iran.
In conclusion, a video from a different context showing protests against the Trump administration was falsely claimed to be a protest in response to the attack on Iran. This claim is false.
