As part of a global effort to deliver aid to Gaza by sea, a fleet named the Global Sumud Flotilla began its journey from Barcelona, Spain, on August 31. The vessels are gradually making their way towards Gaza. In this context, a video is being circulated on social media, claiming to show the fleet’s convoy heading towards Gaza.

Fact-check
The Rumor Scanner team’s investigation found that the circulated video of the fleet is not real; rather, this fake video was created using AI technology.
An investigation into this matter found no existence of this video in international media or other reliable sources. According to the Global Sumud Flotilla’s website, 44 vessels have joined this journey. However, the video in question shows several times more ships than that.
Further observation of the circulated video revealed abnormalities in the ships and surrounding elements, which are typically seen in content generated by artificial intelligence technology.
Moreover, a review of related videos (1, 2) published by international news outlets also found no match with the video in question.
To further confirm the matter, Rumor Scanner tested the video using the ‘AVSRDD (2025)’ model of the AI-generated content detection tool ‘Deepfake-o-meter’. The model’s analysis showed that there is a 100 percent probability that the video was created with AI.
Therefore, a video created with AI has been circulated with the claim that the Global Sumud Flotilla is heading towards Gaza; which is completely false.
