Fact-check
Rumor Scanner Team’s investigation found that the discussed video is not footage of a human-shaped robot made by China; rather, it is a fake video created using artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
In the investigation about this video, no existence of it could be found in any reliable media outlet or trustworthy source.
Later, through reverse searching some key frames of the video, a video was found published on June 10, 2025 on a YouTube channel with the username “Cinelab AI,” titled: ‘2025’s Most Realistic Robot Girl Revealed! – Live event #irc #shorts #robot’. This video matches the one circulated with the discussed claim.
By observing the channel that published the video, it is found to be an AI content creation channel. They make various types of AI videos: 1, 2, 3. There are multiple videos on that channel featuring the same woman’s face: 1, 2, 3.
For further confirmation, when the video was tested on the AI content detection platform Hive Moderation, it was found that there is a 99.9% probability that the video was created using AI.
Therefore, an AI-generated video was circulated on social media claiming it to be footage of a human-shaped robot made by China, which is false.
