Fact Check
According to Rumor Scanner’s investigation, the bike shown in the viral video is not made for footballer Cristiano Ronaldo rather it belongs to a man named Faisal Abu Sara from Saudi Arabia.
At the beginning of the investigation, Rumor Scanner team observed the circulating video. A flag with the Arabic language can be seen displayed on the side of the motor bike. It is showing a name (faisal_abu_sara) in the flag of Saudi Arabia with the logo of Instagram. Which indicates user name of a instagram profile.
Later, by searching relevant keywords based on the name, the Instagram account of the person named Faisal Abu Sara was found where multiple pictures and videos of the said motorbike were found.
Rumor Scanner has verified that the number plate of the claimed bike is identical to the number plate of a bike displayed on Instagram by the person named Faisal Abu Sarah.
Besides, a video of Faisal Abu Sarah being interviewed on a YouTube channel named ‘Roya Sports’ on November 20, 2018 can be found. Where a bike was similar to the claimed bike can be found.
So reviewing all information given above it is clear that the golden bike was not gifted to Ronaldo. Besides, any news of Ronaldo being gifted a golden motorbike could not be found in the international media or any other reliable sources.
Mainly, a video has been circulated on the internet claiming that footballer Cristiano Ronaldo was recently gifted a golden motorbike. However, the investigation of the Rumor Scanner team revealed that the bike was not gifted to Ronaldo, rather the owner of the bike was a person named Faisal Abu Sara from Saudi Arabia.
So, the claim that a gold motorcycle worth Rs 7 crore was made in Saudi Arabia for Cristiano Ronaldo is completely false.
