Fact-Check

Rumor Scanner team’s investigation revealed that the recent statement that went viral on the internet demanding comment on the reasons for Kaka’s ex-wife Caroline celico’s divorce is not hers. She himself told Rumor Scanner that she made no such comment.

At the beginning of the investigation, Rumor Scanner tried to find the origin of the alleged statement. We did not find any news related to this on the main website of El Pais by searching various keywords.

However, Rumor Scanner found proof of the publication of a report on the media’s Columbia branch website. On April 12, the report published under the title “Controversial reason why footballer Kaká’s ex-wife decided to divorce: “he was too perfect for me“” (translated from Spanish), however, it was removed from the website by “El Pais” authorities. We read this report from the Internet Archive. The report cites an X account (formerly Twitter) called SomosAnalistas as a source for Caroline’s alleged statement.

We found the controversial X post containing Caroline’s alleged statement from this X account.
