As part of a global effort to deliver aid to Gaza by sea, a fleet named the Global Sumud Flotilla began its journey from Barcelona, Spain, on August 31. The vessels are gradually making their way towards Gaza. In this context, a video is being circulated on social media with the claim that Gazans are gathering on the river bank awaiting the Global Sumud Flotilla.

Fact-check
The Rumor Scanner team’s investigation found that the circulated video is not from the Gaza coast. Instead, a video filmed three weeks before the ‘Global Sumud Flotilla’ was stationed at the Sidi Bou Said port in Tunisia is being circulated with the recent claim that it is from the Gaza coast.
An investigation into this matter found a match between the viral video and a video published on the page of the Tunisian media outlet Taraji news on September 11. Although details were not available from the video’s description, it was confirmed that this video is from Tunisia.

Further investigation found live video footage from the same location, published by the international news outlet Reuters on Facebook on September 10. Reuters stated that this video shows the departure of the Global Sumud Flotilla from the Sidi Bou Said port in Tunisia.
A video from Tunisia has been circulated with the claim that Gazans are gathering on the riverbank awaiting the Global Sumud Flotilla; this claim is completely false.
