Fact-Check
An investigation by the Rumor Scanner team found that the video, circulated with the claim of a veiled Muslim woman being abused after being deceived by an ISKCON member, is not based on a real incident. Instead, a scripted video by a content creator has been used to support this claim.
At the beginning of the investigation, a close observation of the video revealed a man kicking a burqa-clad woman holding a baby in public. The woman does not appear to resist or protest, and no one else is seen around. Our preliminary assessment indicates that the video is scripted.
Later, using reverse image search on keyframes from the video, we found a fact-check report published by Indian fact-checking organization Alt News on March 20, 2023, titled “Yet another scripted video viral with claims of burqa being used for child kidnapping.”

Alt News reported that the person in the video is Ankur Jatuskaran, who frequently posts scripted videos. This particular video was uploaded on his YouTube channel on February 18, 2023. Ankur has multiple Facebook pages and YouTube-verified channels, all of which feature violent scripted content. Some of these videos do not include any disclaimers.
Alt News observed that both of Ankur’s Facebook pages had posted an extended version of the viral video. One page uploaded it on February 19, 2023, and the other on February 23, 2023. The full-length version runs for 7 minutes. It includes a disclaimer that appears for only one second at the beginning and end of the video, which reads (among other things): “This video is entirely for viewer entertainment and is a fictional work.”
Alt News further noted that Ankur frequently posts violent scripted videos without disclaimers, which causes many viewers to mistake them for real events.
Additionally, Indian fact-checking platforms BoomLive, FactCrescendo, and Arab fact-checking platform Misbar also published reports identifying the video as scripted.
Based on the information in those fact-check reports, Ankur Jatuskaran’s YouTube channels (1, 2) and Facebook pages — Ankur Sharma Films and Ankur Sharma Vines — were reviewed.
Currently, the specific video is no longer available. However, similar scripted videos featuring the same person can be found on these accounts.
Furthermore, comparing the person seen in the video with photos on Ankur Jatuskaran’s Instagram shows a clear resemblance.

In short, it is confirmed that the video circulated with the claim is scripted. Also, location data from the accounts confirms that Ankur Jatuskaran is an Indian citizen.
Conclusion
A scripted video by an Indian content creator has been circulated with a false claim that a veiled Muslim woman was abused after being deceived by an ISKCON member. This claim is false.
