Fact-check
Rumor Scanner Team’s investigation found that Dr. Devi Shetty did not advise taking any formula product for high blood pressure. In fact, the discussed video was created by digitally distorting a video of his speech on a different topic.
In the investigation, a video published on the YouTube channel of an organization named Narayana Health on September 29, 2022, was found here. Visual similarities can be observed between this video and the discussed video.

According to the description of the video, he was giving some advice on heart care after the age of forty and speaking about doing some regular tests in honor of World Heart Day.
Subsequently, by observing the audio or sound in the videos, it was found that the audio of the discussed video differs from the original audio of the 2022 video.
Upon reviewing the discussed video, Devi Shetty’s Bengali speech appears to be artificially generated. Observing several of his videos shows that his speaking style is different. Moreover, no video of him speaking in Bengali can be found on the internet.

To confirm this, the audio clip was verified using the artificial intelligence detection website Resemble AI here, which labeled the audio as “Fake.”
Therefore, the video claiming Indian cardiologist Devi Shetty recommended taking a so-called formula product for high blood pressure is edited.
