The claim that viral Indonesian boat-dancing boy Rayyan Arkan Dikhar has died is false

A claim has been circulated on social media that the Indonesian boy, Rayyan Arkan Dikha, who went viral standing on the front of a boat and dancing to encourage the rowers on the Kuantan River in West Indonesia, has recently died in an accident.

The Rumor Scanner Team’s investigation found that the Indonesian boy, Rayyan Arkan Dikha, who went viral dancing on a boat, has not died. Although the claim of his death began circulating towards the end of August this year, he was last seen at a MotoGP racing event on October 04.

In the initial stage of the investigation, no information was found regarding the death of Rayyan Arkan Dikha in reliable sources through a search with relevant keywords.

Subsequently, a broader search found a video circulated on the ‘MotoGP’ Instagram account on October 04 of this year. The Indonesian boy Rayyan Arkan Dikha is seen in that video with German GP champion Marc Marquez.

Furthermore, a report on the same subject was found published on the ‘GPone’ website on October 05. This report also mentions the meeting between Marc Marquez and the Indonesian boy Rayyan Arkan Dikha, and Marquez was also seen imitating the framing of Dikha’s dance after winning the German GP.

This confirms that the Indonesian boy Rayyan Arkan Dikha has not died.

Therefore, the information circulated claiming that the Indonesian boy Rayyan Arkan Dikha, who went viral dancing on a boat, died in an accident is false.
