Fact-Check
Rumor Scanner Team’s investigation found that the claim of a severe hailstorm in Israel is not true. Furthermore, the video circulated with this claim is also not real. In fact, a video created with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has been promoted with the viral claim.
In the investigation regarding the discussed claim, no information about a severe hailstorm like the one in the video occurring in Israel recently was found in international media or any other reliable source.
Subsequently, in searching for the source of the circulated video, several key-frames were reverse image searched, which led to footage seen in the first part of a video circulated on a TikTok account with the username Murat_officialll here. Reviewing the found video, the ‘Sora’ AI tool watermark was visible.

Sora is a text-to-video AI model created by OpenAI. It can create realistic videos and sounds from text.
To be further certain about this, the circulated video was analyzed on the AI and Deepfake content detection platform, ‘Deepfake-O-Meter‘. The analysis showed a high probability of it being fake. According to the analysis of the platform’s ‘AVSRDD (2025)’ detector, there is a 99.9% probability that the video is fake or AI-generated.

Subsequently, upon reviewing the same TikTok account, the footage seen in the second part of the circulated video was also found.

Although this video did not have the Sora watermark, given its similar nature, it was also tested on the ‘Deepfake-O-Meter’ AI and Deepfake content detection platform. The analysis showed that the platform’s ‘AVSRDD (2025)’ detector found a 100% probability that the video is fake or AI-generated.

Therefore, this confirms that the circulated video was primarily created using AI or Artificial Intelligence technology.
Thus, a video created with AI has been circulated claiming a recent severe hailstorm in Israel; which is false.
